At Alderbrook, LifeGroups come in many different shapes and sizes….and people attend them for a variety of reasons. For some, a LifeGroup mean “friendship”….getting to know people on a casual level. For others,Lifegroups mean “education”…learning together, whether it be a Bible truth, raising kids or improving a marriage. Still for others, Lifegroups is an “experience”…discovering something fresh or unique within a small group. Why not get connected in a Lifegroup?
1. MENS LIFEGROUPLeaders: Ian Baird, Richard Visser This is an “event based” Lifegroup that centers around a lot of things that guys like to do: hockey games, camping trips, hunting…a great way to connect!!
2. KEEPING YOUR MARRIAGE SEXYLeaders: Walter and Sarah Siebert Every second Sunday night 6:30pm Married couples learn how to build a strong marriage, communicate better and to grow as a couple.
3. FIRST STEP FOR PARENTSLeaders: Byron and Tanya Goertz Every second Sunday night 6:30pm A LifeGroup for first-time parents or those with small children (babies and toddlers)
4. DEVELOPING THE LEADER IN YOUR CHILDLeaders : Tom and Elissa Grell / Kurt and Wendy Heinrichs Date to be determined this week Why would we want to settle for our children being average or mediocre? Learn how to raise up effective leaders in our children.
5. WOMENS LIFEGROUPLeaders; Kerry Baird, Sarah Siebert Wednesdays at 9:30am A LifeGroup that assists women in realizing their full potential in Jesus Christ and their faith.
6. GOING DEEPERLeader : Meghan McKenzie Wednesdays 7:30pm A Lifegroup that targets discussion and interaction from the previous Sunday celebration at Alderbrook. A great time to grow together in God’s Word.
7. YUMMY MOMMIESLeader: Wendy Heinrichs Thursdays 9:30 @Centre Ice You are invited to join the mommies along with the babies /toddlers every Thursday morning to connect together along with as play time for the kids
8. ADULT LIFEGROUPLeader: Don and Elma Voth Every second Tuesday at 7pm Come and discover what the “felt needs” that are facing adults today and begin to discover how we are to deal with them.
